Aurea Studio
A fictional study for a Madrid wellness business, exploring a serene website, a clear treatment catalogue and a visible route to booking.
Context and brief
Aurea Studio imagines an independent wellness studio in central Madrid. The exercise explores how a website can feel as calm as the physical space while reducing friction between discovering a treatment and requesting an appointment.
Challenge and audience
Audience hypothesis: urban professionals comparing wellness providers through atmosphere, clarity of offer and ease of booking, mainly on mobile. The challenge was to remove booking friction without introducing visual urgency. The experience had to explain a trust-sensitive offer, work cleanly on mobile and preserve a sense of calm.
My role
I framed the case as an end-to-end definition exercise: problem, architecture, narrative, visual direction and booking journey. There was no client or commercial brief; every decision is presented as a design hypothesis.
Key decisions
Quiet luxury. Warm porcelain tones, generous whitespace, editorial typography and unhurried motion. The palette avoids clinical white and spa clichés in favour of stone, cream and a single confident accent. I organised the experience around a customer's questions rather than the studio's internal catalogue. The sequence prioritises treatments, trust signals and a persistent route to booking; 3D is limited to one atmospheric moment.
Proposed solution
A compact site structured around three questions: what do you offer, what experience can I expect and how do I book. Treatment pages are easy to scan, the booking route stays visible and one restrained 3D moment sets the tone without slowing the site down.
Status and evidence
This is a concept, not a launched project, so there are no bookings, conversions or commercial results to attribute. Its value lies in exposing a coherent system of decisions that could later be validated with real users and data.
